The Pink Castle Tour, Lecture, Concert & Book Signing
This unique event provides an opportunity to personally experience one of St. Augustine’s architectural treasures. In a city filled with conspicuous landmark buildings, the “Pink Castle” is one of the most distinctive and eccentric. It was built in 1922, designed by sculptor Charles Adrian Pillars as his own home and studio. Memorial Park Scrolls of the Florida Fallen Exhibit
Join Memorial Park Association and the Museum of Science and History as they present an exhibit of the scrolls bearing the names of over 1,200 Florida men and women who served during World War I and subsequently died a service-related death. The Florida Fallen were commemorated when Memorial Park was dedicated Christmas Day, 1924, and their names were interred at the base of the fountain.
