All City of Jacksonville parks, including Memorial Park, will be closed until further notice due to COVID-19 concerns
March 16, 2020 — As announced by Jacksonville Mayor Lenny Curry, due to the health concerns of COVID-19 (Coronavirus), all City of Jacksonville parks, including Memorial Park, will be closed until further notice. All activities within Memorial Park should be suspended until the City deems it safe for the public to return. Only personnel undertaking authorized work will be permitted in the park.
