Fireman – Born on March 8, 1896, he enlisted in the U.S. Coast Guard at Key West, Florida, on June 29, 1917. Next of kin: Mrs. Eunice Melvin Agee (mother), Fort Lauderdale, Florida. The V.F.W. Post No. 1966 of Fort Lauderdale was named in his honor. (USCG Service Card)
