Memorial Park Association Speaker Series: Mark Krancer, Kram Kran Photo

During the centennial of the Great War (1914-18), the Memorial Park Association will host a series of special programs and events to commemorate the first global war in history. See the Association’s Upcoming Events for a full list of programs.

The first Speaker Series will feature Mark Krancer of Kram Kran Photo. He will speak about the Impact & Influence of Memorial Park on his Life. After his talk, please join the Association for the Memorial Park Walking Tour.

As a fine art photographer who has exhibited around the globe, Mark Krancer captures beauty as he sees it. His is “Life In The River” photo was captured while standing waist-deep in water during Hurricane Irma’s damage to Memorial Park. This iconic photo has become a symbol of hope for Riverside/Avondale reflecting the perseverance of the neighborhood as it still faces recovery of this tragedy.
