DESCRIPTION:OKTOBERFEST In Memorial Park\nDON’T MISS THE MEMORIAL PARK ASSOCIATION’S 2014 OKTOBERFEST CELEBRATION!\nTWO EVENTS\nFRIDAY NIGHT VIP PREVIEW PARTY\nSATURDAY MAIN EVENT\n \nTickets to both the VIP Preview Party* on Friday\, October 3rd and the Main Celebration on Saturday\, October 4th are available now at EventBrite.\nOktoberfest is a fundraiser for the Memorial Park Association\, which is dedicated to the protection and preservation of the park. \nWe’ll be turning Memorial Park into a German beer hall with locally-brewed Oktoberfest craft beers\, live oompah music\, food trucks serving German fare and traditional beer competitions and games. \nHighlights of both Friday and Saturday’s festivities include: \nTHE SWINGING BAVARIANS OOMPAH BAND \n\nTraditional Oktoberfest songs\, yodeling\, slap-dancing and more!\nCheck out their awesomeness at www.swingingbavarians.com. \nBEERS\nGerman brews from Intuition Ale Works\, Aardwolf and Veterans United will be flowing! \nFOOD\nYour ticket includes a giant pretzel made by Mellow Mushroom. \nWe’ve partnered up with Jax Truckies and will have multiple food trucks on-site\, each serving at least one German dish. Stay tuned for details on which food trucks will be participating! \nTRADITIONAL BEER COMPETITIONS \n\n \nGo out and get yourself a dirndl or some lederhosen now – we’ll be crowning the King and Queen of Oktoberfest! The King and Queen drink for free during the event!\n \nSATURDAY\, OCTOBER 4TH\nTickets to Oktoberfest on Saturday\, October 4th from 12:00pm to 8:00pm include a souvenir Oktoberfest stein\, a free stein fill\, a giant pretzel\, live oompah music and other entertainment.\nFood is NOT included but there will be a variety of food trucks parked on-site serving German fare!\n$35 in advance\n$40 CASH at the door\nKids under 12 free\n \nOKTOBERFEST VIP PREVIEW PARTY FRIDAY\, OCTOBER 3RD\nWe are selling a limited number of tickets to our VIP Preview Party* on Friday\, October 3rd from 6pm to 9pm! \nTickets are $125\, exclusive to Memorial Park Association Donors* and include all-you-can-eat authentic German fare catered by Sausage Paradise\, a souvenir Oktoberfest stein\, three locally-brewed Oktoberfest beers\, a giant pretzel by Mellow Mushroom\, live oompah music and more! \n9/18/2014: The Memorial Park Association is pleased to announce that all VIP Party ticket holders will also be admitted to Saturday’s event at no additional charge. \n*Please note\, the VIP Preview Party is exclusive to Memorial Park Donors only.
